The properties of coatings formed on the MA8 magnesium alloy by plasma electrolytic oxidation in electrolytes containing silicon carbide nanoparticles concentrations 2, 4 and 6 g/l have been investigated. It has shown that coatings, which contain nanoparticles, a significant advantage microhardenss adhesive strength comparison with surface layers obtained without their use.
