The magnetic susceptibility of underdoped yttrium and lanthanum cuprates is interpreted based on the self-consistent solution of the t-J model of a Cu-O plane. A simple yet general swelling-deswelling microencapsulation strategy has been developed to achieve well dispersed and intimately passivated crystalline organic-inorganic perovskites nanoparticles within polymer matrixes and results in a series of highly luminescent CH3 NH3 PbBr3 (MAPbBr3 )-polymer composite films with unprecedented water and thermal stabilities and superior color purity.

Organic-inorganic perovskites are semiconductors used for applications in optoelectronics and photovoltaics. Micron and submicron perovskite patterns have been explored in semitransparent photovoltaic and lasing applications. In this work, we show that a polymeric medium can be used to create a patterned perovskite, by using a novel and inexpensive approach.

CH3NH3PbI3 based photodetectors were fabricated by a facile low-cost process with much enhanced performance. The rise time changed from 2.7 s to 0.02 s, the decay time from 0.5 s to 0.02 s, and the ON/OFF ratio tripled with improved stability. The results indicate that perovskites are promising light-harvesting materials for photodetectors.

Integration of organic/inorganic hybrid perovskites with metallic or semiconducting phases of 2D MoS2 nanosheets via solution processing is demonstrated. The results show that the collection of charge carriers is strongly dependent on the electronic properties of the 2D MoS2 with metallic MoS2 showing high responsivity and the semiconducting phase exhibiting high on/off ratios.
