We discuss the transition radiation of a neutrino induced by its toroid dipole moment (τ) when crossing the interface between two different media with different refraction indices. A neutrino of 1 MeV energy emits approximately 10−40 keV at τ = e √ 2GF /π 2. This effect depends very slightly on the neutrino mass and has a finite value in the massless limit.

In this study, the behavior of a subject consisting of a cylinder with 4 plates perpendicular to it with a rotational degree of freedom under airflow both through the numerical approach, known as improved discrete vortex and experimental approach were investigated. The experimental and numerical results have shown that oscillating regime occurs in low velocity and length. This movement is vibra...

In this paper, we introduce the notion of δ-quasi-slowly oscillating sequences, study on δ-quasi-slowly oscillating compactness and δ-quasi-slowly oscillating continuous functions in locally normal Riesz space.

Electric Dipole Moments (EDM) of particles (leptons, nucleons, and light nuclei) are currently deemed one the best indicators for new physics, i.e., phenomena which lie outside Standard Model (SM) elementary particle physics—so-called physics “Beyond-the-Standard-Model” (BSM). Since EDMs SM vanishingly small, a finite permanent EDM would indicate charge-parity (CP) symmetry violation in additio...

Oscillating tableaux are certain walks in Young’s lattice of partitions; they generalize standard Young tableaux. The shape of an oscillating tableau is the last partition it visits and the length of an oscillating tableau is the number of steps it takes. We define a new statistic for oscillating tableaux that we call weight: the weight of an oscillating tableau is the sum of the sizes of all t...

By a highly–oscillating function we mean one with large number of local maxima and minima over some interval. The computation of integrals of highly–oscillating functions is one of the most important issues in numerical analysis since such integrals abound in applications in many branches of mathematics as well as in other sciences, e.g., quantum physics, fluid mechanics, electromagnetics, etc....

We study superfluidity of a cigar-shaped Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) by stirring it with Gaussian potential oscillating back and forth along the axial dimension condensate, motivated experiments C. Raman et al. Phys. Rev. Lett. 83, 2502 (1999). Using classical-field simulations perturbation theory we examine induced heating rate, based on total energy system, as function velocity $v$. identi...

Acknowledgements: I would like to thank E. Sonnendrücker for the stimulating discussions we had together and from which the problem treated in this paper emerged. Abstract: we show that the solution to an oscillatory-singularly perturbed ordinary differential equation may be asymptotically expanded into a sum of oscillating terms. Each of those terms writes as an oscillating operator acting on ...

effects of temperature and percentage of organic modifier were studied on retention and selectivity in rp-hplc using solvation parameter model. the system constants were determined by multiple linear regression analysis from experimental values in the retention factor for a group of different solutes with known descriptors by computer using the program spss/pc. the experimental results showed t...
