BACKGROUND Radiation overexposure accidents are rare but can have severe long-term health consequences. Although underreporting can be an issue, some extensive literature reviews of reported radiation overexposures have been performed and constitute a sound basis for conclusions on general trends. Building further on this work, we performed a systematic review that completes previous reviews an...

In this paper, the non-dimensional 3D model for a free-surface non-Newtonian anisotherm flow is described. Its use molten nuclear reactor core (corium) in event of severe accidents argued using similarity criteria. The then implemented finite element code based on C++ library Rheolef. resulting simulations are compared to experimental data from prototypical corium spreading experiment VEU7.
