In this paper, a new model has been introduced for scheduling of a multi-microgrid consisting of low voltage microgrids, distributed generation resources and interruptible loads. In this model, system operator runs its internal market, then by using the results and modeling the upstream market, the internal market is finally cleared based on nodal prices and considering network losses. Fu...

the methods which are used to analyze microstrip antennas, are divited into three categories: empirical methods, semi-empirical methods and full-wave analysis. empirical and semi-empirical methods are generally based on some fundamental simplifying assumptions about quality of surface current distribution and substrate thickness. thses simplificatioms cause low accuracy in field evaluation. ful...

The main aim of this paper is to design and implement efficient UART and test the UART with built in self testing technique . A new Test pattern generator is simulated and used in BIST architecture in order to reduce power dissipation. As we know that power dissipation is more during the test mode than in normal mode hence In this project the pattern generator used is the low power pattern gene...

Extended Abstract Background and objectives: One of the important steps in assessing rangeland vegetation is determining the sample size. Adequacy of sample size and its determination is always one of the main concerns of rangeland vegetation analyzer. There are two general methods for determining the sample size in rangeland science: graphic and statistical methods. In this study, the sample...

This review places intergroup encounters in a broad framework which considers the context in which such encounters take place, and in particular, the power dynamics at play. We address different forms of encounters, spanning from interpersonal interactions (not focused on intergroup aspects) to political negotiations between the groups’ representatives, and argue for a deeper consideration of p...

The Energy-Delay product or ED product was proposed as a metric to gauge design effectiveness. This metric is widely used in the area of low-power architecture research, however it is also often improperly used when reporting a new architecture design that addresses energy-performance effectiveness. In this paper, we discuss two common fallacies from the literature: (1) the way the ED product i...

Energy conservation has become the fundamental area of concern in system designs, especially in battery-powered devices. Consumers no longer talk about tradeoffs between performance and power conservation. They demand the lowest power consumption combined with the best performance in smallest packages. Additionally, there seems to be no end to their appetite for the latest hardware and software...

A compact model for an IC Lateral Diffused MOSFET is developed using the Lumped-Charge Methodology[1]. Model equations and key performance characteristics are documented. They satisfy the requirements of Power MOSFET models[2], unlike the competitive macromodels developed from short-channel, low-power MOSFET models.
