Lipoma rarely involves parotid gland especially in children. An 11-year-old boy presented with right parotid swelling. Preoperative workup including CT scan and FNAC gave suspicion of parotid gland lipoma. The diagnosis was confirmed on histopathology after complete excision of the mass.

Although lipomas can occur in any part of the body, they are found infrequently in the oral cavity. Variants of lipoma have been described according to the type of tissue present; a lipoma with cartilaginous metaplasia is a chondrolipoma which is a rare variant. We describe a chondrolipoma of tongue in a 36 year old lady.

This report describes a giant pleural lipoma that arose from the pleura of the 7th anterior intercostal space and occupied approximately 75% of the right pleural cavity in a 49-year-old woman. The tumor was completely excised by right thoracotomy. The complete histopathological investigation showed pleural lipoma, and we made a review of literature.

Lipoma of an extensor tendon compartment is an exceedingly rare tumor of the hand. Although benign, it can often cause localized pain and finger stiffness, necessitating surgical excision. We report a case of a lipoma of the tendon sheath in the fourth dorsal compartment of the hand that was successfully treated with surgical excision.

We report a patient with a lipoma arborescens in the knee, a chance finding discovered on MRI. This is an unusual cause of swelling of the knee joint; if this condition is present, it is almost always located in the suprapatellar pouch. Accessory scrotum and congenital perineal lipoma are unusual congenital anomalies. Congenital pulmonary airway malformation (CPAM) is a rare congenital disorder of the lung. There are five types of CPAM, each with a different clinical presentation and prognosis. The present report involves a case of type 2 CPAM associated with accessory scrotum and congenital perianal lipoma.
