Infiltrating lipoma is an uncommon mesenchymal neoplasm that characteristically infiltrates adjacent tissues and tends to recur after excision. This type of lipoma is extremely rare in the head and neck region. We report a case of a giant infiltrating lipoma of the face, studied with CT and MR imaging.

A case of spinal intraosseous schwannoma (SIS) in the lumbar vertebra is reported. Clinical and radiologic characteristics of 16 reported cases of SIS were reviewed. SIS can be a rare differential diagnosis for intraosseous tumors.

Lipoma of the parotid gland is a rare entity. Trauma with soft tissue haematoma formation and subsequent lymphatic effusion, fat necrosis and lipoma formation have been postulated as an aetiological pathway.
