In the pursuit of electrocatalysts with great economic and ecological values for non-enzymatic glucose sensors, one-dimensional copper@carbon (Cu@C) core-shell coaxial nanowires (NWs) have been successfully prepared via a simple continuous flow wet-chemistry approach from electroplating wastewater. The as-obtained products were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron micros...
To suppress Ag dewetting from around 200 oC in Ag-coated Cu (Cu@Ag) flakes, and Ni-coated (Cu@Ni@Ag) flakes were fabricated by successive Ni electroless plating. The bath type was an important consideration to induce differences the resultant oxidation. An acid contained succinic as a complexing agent sodium hypophosphite reductant, alkaline citrate hydroxide pH adjuster ...
This article briefly reviews how to construct an enzyme based hydrogen peroxide sensor involving nanomaterials, which has the advantages of high efficiency, good sensitivity and selectivity, fast response time extended range linearity with lower detection limit. Glucose biosensor is constructed by immobilizing glucose oxidase on polycarbonate membrane protective cover then filled a physiologica...
in this work, ag-cu nanoparticles (with different percentages of copper, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75% cu) were synthesized by wet chemical method. copper(ii) sulfate and silver nitrate were taken as metal precursors, ascorbic acid as reducing agent and anhydride maleic (ma) as a modifier. the prepared nanoparticles were characterized by means of x-ray diffraction (xrd) technique and scanning electron mic...
The Ascutita porphyry Cu-Mo prospect is located in the SW Poiana Rusca Mountains, Romania. Current assessment estimates a resource of 110 Mt @ 0.15 % Cu-equivalent. In relatively low-grade deposits such as this, by-products Ag (2–3 ppm) are important determining economic feasibility overall orebody. Assayed Cu and have clear downhole correlation. absence other silver-bearing minerals, or correl...
We investigate the effect of various amounts of Ag and Cu solute atoms on the self-diffusivity of Sn in the (101) symmetric tilt bSn grain boundary. Using molecular dynamics simulations over a temperature range of 300 K to 450 K, we show that both Ag and Cu decrease the grain boundary self-diffusivity of Sn as the amount of solute in the interface increases. Additionally, the presence of Ag at ...
Nanosize-controllable Cu, Ag, Pd, Ni, CuPd alloy and Cu-Ag bimetal encapsulated in inert carbon shells can be synthesized by carbonization of metal-cyclodextrin complexes with a remarkable capability of experimentally determining the size-dependent melting temperature depression of many metal or alloy nanoparticles.
Hybrid nanostructures of metal (Cu, Au, Ag)-ZnO nanopyramids were synthesized. These hybrid nanostructures possess two distinct morphologies where the metal can be selectively attached to either the base or the tip of the ZnO pyramids. This is the first time that such morphologies are reported for Cu-ZnO and Ag-ZnO hybrid nanostructures.
Here we report an Ag-modified Cu/CuO (Cu/CuO–Ag) catalyst with a porous 3D structure, which can efficiently electrochemically reduce CO 2 to ethylene and other C 2+ products.
We present a method for speeding up temperature-accelerated dynamics (TAD) simulations by carrying out a localized saddle-point (LSAD) search. In this method, instead of using the entire system to determine the energy barriers of activated processes, the calculation is localized by only including a small chunk of atoms around the atoms directly involved in the transition. Using this method, we ...
