Nowadays using of new energies in the form of dispersed resources in the worlds is wide spreading. In this article we will design a dispersed production source in the form of a solar/wind hybrid power plant in order to supply the energy of a residential unit according to a sample load pattern. The aim of aforementioned design is to reduce its costs in a period of 20 years. In order to optimi...

The acceleration of charged particles in the presence of a magnetic field and gravitational waves is under consideration. It is shown that the weak gravitational waves can cause the acceleration of low energy particles under appropriate conditions. Such conditions may be satisfied close to the source of the gravitational waves if the magnetized plasma is in a turbulent state.

We study the evolution of gravitational waves(GWs) after inflation in a brane-world cosmology embedded in five-dimensional anti-de Sitter spacetime. Contrary to the standard four-dimensional results, the GWs at the high-energy regime in braneworld model suffer from the effects of the non-standard cosmological expansion and the excitation of the Kaluza-Klein modes(KK-modes), which can affect the...

It is shown that if a generalized definition of gauge invariance is used, gauge invariant effective stress-energy tensors for gravitational waves and other gravitational perturbations can be defined in a much larger variety of circumstances than has previously been possible. In particular it is no longer necessary to average the stress-energy tensor over a region of spacetime which is larger in...

We extend the thermodynamic theory of gravitational clustering in an expanding Universe to include the scale dependence of the ratio, b, of gravitational correlation energy to thermal energy. The predicted form of the gravitational quasi-equilibrium distribution function is unchanged by this scale dependence. This generalization of the theory contains no free parameters, and clariies many earli...

Galaxy clusters, the largest gravitationally bound objects in the universe, form over time from collisions and mergers between clusters and between clusters and smaller galaxy groups. The results of these collisions can be detected in a variety of ways. In one case, I have found that clusters which have recently undergone a merger will have an enhanced Sunyaev-Zel’dovich (SZ) Effect. The SZ sig...

We show the possible existence of compact stars having a surface composed of a mixed phase of quarks and hadrons. This scenario can be realized both for self-bound stars, satisfying the so-called Witten-Bodmer hypothesis, and for gravitationally bound stars. This class of solutions of the Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equation can be obtained in all the models we discuss, within a physically accep...

A well-known potential dark matter signature is emission of GeV TeV neutrinos from annihilation of neutralinos gravitationally bound to massive objects. We present results from recent searches for high energy neutrino emission from the Sun with AMANDA, in all cases revealing no significant excess. We show limits on both neutralinoinduced muon flux from the Sun and neutralinonucleon cross sectio...

While there is so far no direct evidence linking coalescences of double neutron star systems to gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), they are a certainly a very plausible candidate for the subclass of short GRBs as they can provide huge reservoirs of gravitational binding energy and are expected to lead naturally to short overall durations with variations on millisecond time scales. Moreover, they possess ...

We examine the X–ray luminosity of galaxy groups in the CNOC2 survey, at redshifts 0.1 < z < 0.6. Previous work examining the gravitational lensing signal of the CNOC2 groups has shown that they are likely to be genuine, gravitationally bound objects. Of the 21 groups in the field of view of the EPIC–PN camera on XMM–Newton, not one was visible in over 100 ksec of observation, even though three...
