Hepatitis C virus has been found to be associated with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphomas, mostly marginal zone lymphomas and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Deregulation of signaling pathways involved in normal marginal zone development (NOTCH pathway, NF-κB, and BCR signaling) has been demonstrated in splenic marginal zone lymphoma. We studied mutations of NOTCH pathway signaling in 46 patients with...
Inhibition of monocarboxylate transporter 1 has been proposed as a therapeutic approach to perturb lactate shuttling in tumor cells that lack monocarboxylate transporter 4. We examined the monocarboxylate transporter 1 inhibitor AZD3965, currently in phase I clinical studies, as a potential therapy for diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and Burkitt lymphoma. Whilst extensive monocarboxylate transpor...
Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is a frequent aggressive subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, representing nearly 30-40% all cases. The skin may be affected by the disease either primarily or secondarily. Herein we report clinical and dermoscopic case metastasis DLBCL in patient with Klinefelter Syndrome.
•Primary lymphoma of the female genital tract accounts for 1% of extranodal lymphomas.•Approximately 13% are diffuse large B cell lymphoma of the uterus, most often involving the endometrial stroma or cervix.•The first double-expressor diffuse large B cell lymphoma confined to a uterine leiomyoma is described.
We point out that vector boson fusion at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) can lead to useful signals for charginos and neutralinos in supersymmetric scenarios where these particles are almost invisible. The proposed signals are just two forward jets with missing transverse energy. It is shown that, in this way, one can put by far the strongest constraint on the parameter space of a theory with a...
