This communication reports the use of click chemistry to site-specifically conjugate bioluminescent Renilla luciferase proteins to gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) for sensing protease activity. EuWO4(OH) nanobelts were synthesized for the first time via a thiourea-assisted hydrothermal reaction.
