We study intersecting noncommutative (NC) M5-branes from κ-invariance of an open supermembrane action with constant three-form fluxes. The κ-invariance gives rise to possible D-brane configurations for which projection operators can be determined. We construct projection operators for two types of 1/4 BPS intersecting NC M5-branes. I review some progress made on the problem of calculating electroweak processes of mesons at low energy with the use of an approximation to large-Nc QCD which we call the Minimal Hadronic Approximation. We investigate nonfactorizable contributions to charm meson decays in D → K̄π/ K̄ρ /K̄π / K̄a1 / K̄ρ modes. Obtaining the contributions from spectator-quark diagrams for Nc = 3, we determine nonfactorizable isospin 1/2 and 3/2 amplitudes required to explain the data for these modes. We observe that ratio of these amplitudes seem to follow a universal value.
