Motion in depth and/or zooming cause defocus blur. We show how the defocus blur in an image can be recovered simultaneously with affine motion. We introduce the theory, develop a solution method and demonstrate the validity of the theory and the solution by conducting experiments with real scenery.

We present a system for painting how the appearance of an object changes under different lighting and viewing conditions. The user paints what the object should look like under different lighting conditions (dark, partially dark, fully lit, etc.) and (optionally) different viewing angles. The system renders the object under new lighting conditions and a new viewing angle by combining these pain...

MRI is unique in its ability to non-invasively and selectively alter tissue magnetization, and create tag planes intersecting image slices. The resulting grid of signal voids allows for tracking deformations of tissues in otherwise homogeneous-signal myocardial regions. In this paper, we propose a speciic Spatial Modulation of Magnetization (SPAMM) imaging protocol together with eecient techniq...

Procedural techniques will soon automate many aspects of content creation for computer games. We describe an efficient, deterministic, methodology for procedurally generating 3D game content of arbitrary size and complexity. The technique progressively amplifies simple dynamically generated data structures into complex geometry. We use a procedural pipeline with a minimum set of controls at eac...
