The subsolidus phase relationships in the ZnO–InO1.5–SnO2 system were investigated at 12751C using X-ray diffraction. Each of the end members of the ternary diagram is a transparent conducting oxide. There are two substantial solid solutions in the ternary phase space, the bixbyite solid solution In2 2xZnxSnxO3 (x5 0–0.40), and the indium substituted zinc stannate spinel, Zn(2 x)Sn(1 x)In2xO4 (...

Reaction of 2 equiv. of the lithium carboranylamidinate Li[o-(C2H10B10)C(NCy)(NHCy)] with SnCl2 in THF afforded the stannylene compound bis(N,N'-dicyclohexylamidinatocarboranate)tin(II), SnII[o-(C2H10B10)C(NCy)(NHCy)]2 (1). A similar reaction of SnCl4 with 2 equiv. of Li[o-(C2H10B10)C(N i Pr)(NH i Pr)] unexpectedly afforded the known solvated penta-chlorido-stannate(IV) salt [Li(THF)4][SnCl5(TH...

Two dimensional (2D)SnO2 nanosheets were synthesized by a substrate-free hydrothermal route using sodium stannate and sodium hydroxide in a mixed solvent of absolute ethanol and deionized water at a lower temperature of 130 °C. The characterization results of the morphology, microstructure, and surface properties of the as-prepared products demonstrated that SnO2 nanosheets with a tetragonal ru...

Barium stannate (BaSnO3) particles were synthesized using a one-step flame spray pyrolysis (FSP) method. The fabricated ceramic powders investigated in terms of the structural, morphological, and optical properties by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), photoelectron (XPS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), zeta particle size analyzer, UV–Visible (UV–Vis) ...

In the title solvated salt, (C(10)H(10)NO)[SnCl(4)(C(9)H(6)NO)]·CH(3)CN, the Sn(IV) atom is chelated by the N,O-bidentate 8-hydroxy-quinolinate ligand and four chloride ions, generating a distorted SnONCl(4) octa-hedral coordination geometry for the metal. In the crystal, the cations are linked to the anions and the solvent mol-ecules by O-H⋯O and N-H⋯N hydrogen bonds, respectively.
