Magnetization measurements of Nd2Fe172dGad (d50 – 2) show that the saturation magnetization, M s , decreases with an increase in Ga content from 40.4 mB /f.u. for Nd2Fe17 to 36.1 mB /f.u. for Nd2Fe15Ga2 at 4.2 K. The microstructure and magnetic properties of annealed CoCr thin films of various thicknesses, deposited on glass substrates, were examined. We show that the scaling procedure, recently proposed for the evaluation of the temperature variation of the normalized upper critical field of type-II superconductors, may easily be modified in order to take into account a possible temperature dependence of the Ginzburg-Landau parameter κ. As an example we consider κ(T ) as it follows from the microscopic theory of superconductivity.
Compound [Ni(AEAPTS)2]3[Fe(CN)6]2 (AEAPTS = N-(2-aminoethyl)-3-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane), in which Ni(2+) and Fe(3+) ions are ferromagnetically coupled through cyano bridges, was prepared.
