Given a Type II censored sample and a Type II ‘median censored’ sample from the two parameter log-normal distribution, we have derived the predictive distribution of future responses assuming a noninformative prior as well as an informative prior distribution for the parameters. We have also obtained various types of estimates of reliability functions. A numerical example illustrates the results.
