In this paper, first we prove a common fixed point theorem for a pair of weakly compatible self maps in complex valued metric space for rational inequality. Secondly, we prove common fixed point theorems for weakly compatible mappings along with (CLRg) and E.A. properties.

Some fixed point results for generalized quasicontractions in abstract metric spaces obtained recently are extended to the case of a pair of mappings. Also, it is shown that in some cases regularity and/or normality condition for the underlying cone can be dropped. Examples are given to illustrate the results.

Given a mapping f : A → B from a partially ordered set A into an unstructured set B, we study the problem of defining a suitable partial ordering relation on B such that there exists a mapping g : B → A such that the pair of mappings (f, g) forms an isotone Galois connection between partially ordered sets.

In this article, existence and uniqueness of common coupled fixed point for a pair of mappings in the setup of complete b-metric spaces are studied. The derived result generalizes and extends some well known results from the existing literature in b-metric spaces. Appropriate example is also given.
