Theoretical analysis of recently observed excess heat and anomalous vacuum effects for hydrogen-oxygen-metal systems is described based on theory of Bose-Einstein condensation nuclear fusion (BECNF). The anomalous excess heat effect is explained by oxygen fusion via BECNF process producing sulfur. The observed vacuum effect is explained by BEC process.

Few-nucleon correlations in nuclear matter at finite densities and temperatures are explored. Using the Dyson equation approach leads to effective few-body equations that include self energy corrections and Pauli blocking factors in a systematic way. Examples given are the nucleon deuteron in-medium reaction rates, few-body bound states including the α-particle, and α-particle condensation.

We present results obtained for nuclei, nuclear and neutron star matter, and neutron star structure obtained with the recent Argonne v18 twonucleon and Urbana IX three-nucleon interactions including relativistic boost corrections. These interactions predict that matter will undergo a transition to a spin layered phase with neutral pion condensation. We also consider the possibility of a transit...

We show that kaonic nuclei can be produced by the (K, p) and (K, n) reactions. The reactions are shown to have cross sections experimentally measurable. The observation of the kaonic nuclei gives a kaon-nucleus potential which answers the question on the existence of kaon condensation in dense nuclear matter especially neutron stars. Typeset using REVTEX

The fidelity of mitosis is essential for life, and successful completion of this process relies on drastic changes in chromosome organization at the onset of nuclear division. The mechanisms that govern chromosome compaction at every cell division cycle are still far from full comprehension, yet recent studies provide novel insights into this problem, challenging classical views on mitotic chro...

We show that kaonic nuclei can be produced by the (K−, p) and (K−, n) reactions. The reactions are shown to have cross sections experimentally measurable. The observation of the kaonic nuclei gives a kaon-nucleus potential which answers the question on the existence of kaon condensation in dense nuclear matter especially neutron stars. BACKGROUND An embryo's ability to grow and implant can be improved by selection of a normal spermatozoon with a vacuole-free head. However, large vacuoles in spermatozoa have yet to be fully characterized. The present study aimed to determine whether these vacuoles are of nuclear, membrane and/or acrosomal origin. METHODS We studied 15 infertile patients with differing sperm profiles. For eac...

Rhodamine 6G-chromone-derived compounds RD1 - RD4 have been synthesized by condensation of rhodamine 6G hydrazide and substituted chromone aldehydes in ethanol using microwave-assisted reaction. The structures these derivatives were confirmed proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H-NMR), carbon (13C-NMR), high-resolution mass spectra data (HRMS). Colorimetric photophysical studies show the select...
