Differential-algebraic equations (DAEs) are a widespread dynamical model that describes continuously evolving quantities defined with differential equations, subject to constraints expressed through algebraic relationships. As such, DAEs arise in many fields ranging from physics, chemistry, and engineering. In this article, we focus on linear DAEs, develop theory for their minimization up an eq...

This paper presents a criteria for the existence and uniqueness of solutions to two point boundary value problems associated with a second order non-linear fuzzy differential equations. The main tools employed are estimates on Green’s function, Ascoli’s Lemma and a fixed point theorem of Banach. Mathematics subject classification (2000): 34A10, 26E50, 34B15.

In the fuzzy arithmetic, the definitions of addition and multiplication of fuzzy numbers are based on Zadeh’s extension principle. From theoretical and practical points of view, this multiplication of fuzzy numbers owns several unnatural properties. Recently, to avoid this shortcoming, a new multiplicative operation of product type is introduced, the so-called cross-product of fuzzy numbers. Th...

This paper presents numerical solutions of first order linear fuzzy differential equations using Leapfrog method. The obtained discrete solutions are compared with single-term Haar wavelet series (STHWS) method [1]. Error graphs and error calculation tables are presented to highlight the efficiency of the Leapfrog method. This method can be implemented in the digital computers and take any time...

In this paper, homotopy analysis method is presented for linear system of first-order fuzzy differential equations which involves a radioactivity decay model. We give the illustrative example to demonstrate the efficiency of the method. Finally, homotopy analysis method (HAM) is applied to obtain series solutions to the the radioactivity decay model.

In this article, we develop the distributed order fractional hybrid differential equations (DOFHDEs) with linear perturbations involving the fractional Riemann-Liouville derivative of order $0 < q < 1$ with respect to a nonnegative density function. Furthermore, an existence theorem for the fractional hybrid differential equations of distributed order is proved under the mixed $varphi$-Lipschit...

Mathematical models in science and engineering often contain parameters that are uncertain. These parameters are usually represented by random numbers, fields or processes. However, when the stochastic characteristics of these parameters are not precisely known, an interval representation, or, more generally, a fuzzy representation may be more appropriate. This leads to so-called fuzzy differen...

There has been a growing interest in combining both neural network and fuzzy system, and as a result, neuro-fuzzy computing techniques have been evolved. ANFIS (adaptive network-based fuzzy inference system) model combined the neural network adaptive capabilities and the fuzzy logic qualitative approach. In this paper, a novel structure of unsupervised ANFIS is presented to solve differential e...
