¡v in this paper we consider a strongly regular relation ƒá on hypermodules so that the quotient is amodule (with abelian group) over a fundamental commutative ring. also, we state necessary and sufficientconditions so that the relation ƒá is transitive, and finally we prove that ƒá is transitive on hypermodules.

In the nonlinear theory of isotropic elastic materials, there are relations between force-like quantities and deformation-like quantities which are independent of material properties. Such relations have been called "universal" relations [1]. The best known example is that of Rivlin for simple shear [2]. It relates components of normal and shear stress and the amount of shear. Another important...

We discuss the Bogoliubov transformation of the scalar wave functions caused by the change of coordinates in 4 dimensional de Sitter space. It is shown that the exact Bogoliubov coefficients can be obtained from the global coordinates to the static coordinates where there exist manifest horizon. We consider two type of global coordinates. In one global coordinates, it is shown that the Bogoliub...

In this thesis, we study the importance of background knowledge in relation extraction systems. We not only demonstrate the benefits of leveraging background knowledge to improve the systems’ performance but also propose a principled framework that allows one to effectively incorporate knowledge into statistical machine learning models for relation extraction. Our work is motivated by the fact ...

International subcontracting relationships are often characterized by considerable power asymmetries. The actors in global value chain obtained different profits. Different governance dominant modes reflect different roles of countries and enterprises played in the global value chains and result in different industrial international competitiveness in the end Through a relation model of upstrea...

This paper discusses the question of ‘good governance’ in relation to the current debates about global development and health. It explores the challenge of health governance in the face of interconnected complex developmental transitions. Global health is said to be undergoing its third ‘great transition’, the first two transitions being the clean water and sanitation transition in the nineteen...

We investigate predictability in national equity market returns, and its relation to global economic risks. We show how to consistently estimate the fraction of the predictable variation that is captured by an assetpricing modelfor the expected returns. We use a model in which conditional betas of the national equity markets depend on local information variables, while global risk premia depend...

In its traditional definition, a repair of an inconsistent databaseis a consistent database that differs from the inconsistent onein a “minimal way.” Often, repairs are not equally legiti-mate, as it is desired to prefer one over another; for example, one fact is regarded more reliable than another, or a morerecent fact should be preferred to an earlier one. Motivatedby t...
