This paper aims to contribute to knowledge of education based on a non-dualistic perspective on learning, by considering how a variation theoretical perspective seeing learning as a merged phenomenon of the learner and the object to be learnt affects instruction. In this project, teachers’ theoretical non-dualistic awareness was developed through the introduction of variation theory as a guidin...
Many problems in pure and applied mathematics reduce to a problem of common fixed point of some self-mapping operators which are defined on metric spaces. One of the generalizations of metric spaces is the partial metric space in which self-distance of points need not to be zero but the property of symmetric and modified version of triangle inequality is satisfied. In this paper, some well-know...
References [1, 5] introduce a transport protocol that o ers partially ordered service for multimedia applications. This paper investigates how much the selection of a linear extension a ects system performance in a partially ordered service. We rst show how to identify better linear extensions of a partial order, and then determine the performance gains by using such linear extensions at the ti...
A central point in qualitative models is that of calculation . The problem is to represent, compare, and combine, approximate or symbolic values with the major constraint of consistency with some numerical counterpart . Aware of the fact that many qualitative characterizations are in the form of antagonistic concepts (such as low vs. high, weak vs. strong, bad vs . good, etc.) more or less expl...
In this paper we introduce the notion of quasi-partial b-metric space and then study coupled fixed point results in a quasi-partial b-metric space. Some examples are also given in support of the obtained results. Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H10, 54H25
In this paper, a new concept of generalized quasi-partial metric spaces is presented. Some fixed point results due to Karapinar et. al., [E. Karapinar, I. M. Erhan, A. Öztürk, Math. Comput. Modelling, 57 (2013), 2442–2448] are extended in the setting of the generalized quasi-partial metric spaces. c ©2016 All rights reserved.
The concept of partial metric which is a generalized metric space was introduced by Matthews 1 in 1994, inwhich the distance between two identical elements needs not be zero. The existence of fixed point for contraction-type mappings on such spaces was considered by many authors 1–12 . A modified version of a Banach contraction mapping principle, more suitable to solve certain problems arising ...
We prove the existence of the unique common fixed point theorems for self mappings which are weakly compatible satisfying some contractive conditions on partial metric spaces. Furthermore, we also prove the result on the continuity in the set of common fixed points for self mappings on partial metric spaces.
In this work, we prove some coupled fixed point theory for ψ-contractive in partial metric spaces which extend and generalize some results on fixed point theorems in ordered partial metric spaces. We also provide an example in support of our main result.
In this paper, we introduce some concepts in partial b-metric spaces. We establish fixed point theorems for some new generalized α − ψ type contractive mappings in the setting of partial b-metric spaces. Some examples are presented to illustrate our obtained results. Finally, we show that the results generalize some recent results. c ©2016 All rights reserved.
