The crystal structure of the title Schiff base complex is obtained by single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. The solid state structure determination reveals that the coordination geometry around the copper(II) center istetrahedrally distorted square-planar. The crystal packing shows one dimensional infinite chains which arisesfrom the intermolecular interaction and stabilize the crystal packing.
The aim of this study is to investigate and identify the barriers and problems related to establishing management information systems (MIS) from administrators’ point of view. on this basis, attempt has been made to propose suitable solutions to these barriers by identifying them in different stages of establishing these systems in Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex in Rafsanjan. These barriers are...
Cytochrome c oxidase (CcO) is an oligomeric complex localized within the mitochondrial inner membrane. Assembly of the active oxidase complex requires the coordinate assembly of subunits synthesized in both the cytoplasm and the mitochondrion. In addition, assembly is dependent on the insertion of five types of cofactors, including two hemes, three copper ions, and one Zn, Mg, and Na ion. A ser...
μ-Hydroxyl trinuclear copper(II) compounds, with core structures closely resembling the central moieties in multicopper oxidases, have been extensively investigated and the importance of the prototypes in the oxidation of C-H bonds has been confirmed. In the course of study for the Cu(II) salens catalyzing the three-component (sodium azide, epoxide and non-activated terminal alkyne) 1,3-Huisgen...
The copper(II) complex of a novel rhodamine-azamacrocycle conjugate binds to the CXCR4 chemokine receptor and competes effectively against anti-CXCR4 monoclonal antibodies. The copper macrocycle unit adopts a trans-II configuration in the solid state.
A new dinuclear copper complex and several Cu-amino acid complexes inhibit protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B competitively at submicromolar levels, suggesting that copper complexes may interfere with cellular signaling pathways by inhibiting protein tyrosine phosphatases.
The anticancer properties of pure copper (II) acetate and copper (II) acetylacetonate, alone and loaded on functionalized sol-gel titania (TiO(2)), were determined in four different cancer cell lines (C6, RG2, B16, and U373), using increasing concentrations of these compounds. The copper complexes were loaded onto the TiO(2) network during its preparation by the solgel process. Once copper-TiO(...
The One Health principle recognizes that human health, animal health, and environmental health are inextricably linked. An excellent example is the study of naturally occurring copper toxicosis in dogs to help understand human disorders of copper metabolism. Besides the Bedlington terrier, where copper toxicosis is caused by a mutation in the COMMD1 gene, more complex hereditary forms of copper...
A novel tripodal ligand with three different arms, viz., pyridine, phenol and an oxime and its copper(II) complex were synthesised. The X-ray crystal structure of the compound reveals that it is a dinuclear complex consisting of two copper(II) ions doubly bridged by two oximato groups in a trans arrangement. The complex contains unusual cis-axially coordinated phenolates as well as a novel inte...
