in this paper, we introduce the new notion of n-f-clean rings as a generalization of f-clean rings. next, we investigate some properties of such rings. we prove that mn(r) is n-f-clean for any n-f-clean ring r. we also, get a condition under which the de nitions of n-cleanness and n-f-cleanness are equivalent.

A multi-class single-server queueing model with finite buffers, in which scheduling and admission of customers are subject to control, is studied in the moderate deviation heavy traffic regime. A risk-sensitive cost set over a finite time horizon [0, T ] is considered. The main result is the asymptotic optimality of a control policy derived via an underlying differential game. The result is the...

LUTHER Burbank was a curious mixture: part garStalin’s ear. He was arrested in 1940 while on a collecting trip and was sentenced to death, but this was rescinded dener, part artist, part P. T. Barnum. He was responsible for a plethora of improved fruits, vegetables, in June 1942. He died in prison in 1943. Had he been able to continue his program, he would surely have and ornamentals. Some of t...

Based on a model developed for hardwood fiber strength-pulp property relationships, multiple-regression equations involving fiber strength, fiber length, and sheet density were determined to predict the properties of kraft pulps of slash pine (Pinus elliottii) . Regressions for breaking length and burst factor accounted for 88 and 90 percent, respectively, of total variation in these properties...

A heavy traac limit theorem for networks of queues with multiple customer types. 27 We now compute the principal minors of D k 2 and D k 3. First consider D k 2. All the principal minors of order 2 are equal to 1. The principal minor corresponding to f1; 3; 4g is equal to 1 + 3 1 3 4 == 2 , and the remaining principal minors of order 3 are equal to 1. The determinant of the matrix itself is 1 ?...
