The Earth is bombarded by ultrarelativistic particles, known as cosmic rays (CRs). CRs with energies up to a few PeV (=1015 eV), the knee in particle spectrum, are believed have Galactic origin. One or more factories of CRs, PeVatrons, must thus be active within our Galaxy. direct detection protons from their sources not possible since they deflected magnetic fields. Hundred TeV ?-rays decaying...

Feeding fats to dairy cows has become increasingly popular primarily for two reasons: 1. Supplemental fat can be used to increase the energy concentration of diets for highproducing cows. During early lactation, highproducing cows cannot consume enough feed to meet their energy needs. Fats are fed to cows: • to prevent them from losing too much weight, • to shorten the time frame during which t...

With a direct demodulation method, we have reanalyzed the data from the COMPTEL observation of PKS0528+134 during the 1993 March flare in γ-rays. Our results show that during the flare γ-rays were detected at a level approximately 2.4-3.8 times higher than the observed intensity in two earlier COMPTEL observations VP 0 and VP 1 in the energy range 3 MeV to 30 MeV. The 3-30 MeV time variability ...

Background and aims: Keratoconus is characterized by corneal ectasia and irregular astigmatism, which can lead to diminished vision and corneal scarring. Keratoconus is a condition that causes corneal ectasia and reduced vision in young adults. A proportion of these patients have progressive disease requiring corneal transplantation. Methods: The databases searched included OVID MEDLINE, MEDLIN...

Fetal growth restriction, also known as intrauterine growth restriction, is a common complication of pregnancy that has been associated with a variety of adverse perinatal outcomes. There is a lack of consensus regarding terminology, etiology, and diagnostic criteria for fetal growth restriction, with uncertainty surrounding the optimal management and timing of delivery for the growth-restricte...

We performed a high resolution study of $0^{+}$ states in $^{134}$Ba using the $^{136}$Ba($p,t$) two-neutron transfer reaction. Our experiment shows significant portion $L = 0$ pair-transfer strength concentrated at excited $0^+$ levels $^{134}$Ba. Potential implications context $^{136}$Xe $\to$ $^{136}$Ba neutrinoless double beta decay matrix element calculations are briefly discussed.
