In this paper, we propose a one-step composite iterative algorithm for solving operator equations involving accretive and nonexpansive operators. We obtain a weak convergence theorem for these nonlinear operators in the framework of 2-uniformly smooth and uniformly convex Banach space. c ©2017 All rights reserved.
The purpose of this paper is to solve the hierarchical variational inequality with the constraint of a general system of variational inequalities in a uniformly convex and 2-uniformly smooth Banach space. We introduce implicit and explicit iterative algorithms which converge strongly to a unique solution of the hierarchical variational inequality problem. Our results improve and extend the corr...
We prove some existence theorems for solutions of a certain system of multivariate nonexpansive operator equations and calculate the solutions by using the generalized Mann and Halpern iterative algorithms in uniformly convex and uniformly smooth Banach spaces. The results of this paper improve and extend the previously known ones in the literature.
A new hybrid projection algorithm is considered for a finite family of λi-strict pseudocontractions. Using the metric projection, some strong convergence theorems of common elements are obtained in a uniformly convex and 2-uniformly smooth Banach space. The results presented in this paper improve and extend the corresponding results of Matsushita and Takahshi, 2008, Kang and Wang, 2011, and man...
Considering the second boundary value problem of Lagrangian mean curvature equation, we obtain existence and uniqueness smooth uniformly convex solution, which generalizes Brendle–Warren’s theorem about minimal diffeomorphism in Euclidean metric space.
Let f be a martingale with values in uniformly p-smooth Banach space and w any positive weight. We show that E(f∗⋅w)≲E(Spf⋅w∗), where ⋅∗ is the maximal operator Sp ℓp sum of increments.
In nonparametric instrumental variables estimation, the function being estimated is the solution to an integral equation. A solution may not exist if, for example, the instrument is not valid. This paper discusses the problem of testing the null hypothesis that a solution exists against the alternative that there is no solution. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of a sol...
