in the most described maximum power point tracking (mppt) methods in the literatures, the optimal operation point of the photovoltaic (pv) systems is estimated by linear approximations. however, these approximations can lead to less optimal operating conditions and significantly reduce the performances of the pv systems. this paper proposes a new approach to determine the maximum power point (m...

background: the recent developments in tissue doppler imaging (tdi) now more than ever permit the quantification of the myocardial function. in the current systems, tissue tracking or displacement curves are generated from color tissue doppler data through the instantaneous temporal integral of velocity-time curves. methods: the purpose of the present study was to assess regional myocardial dis...

Based on learning control methods and computational intelligence, control of quantum systems is an attractive field of study in control engineering. What is important is to establish control approach ensuring that the control process converges to achieve a given control objective and at the same time it is simple and clear. In this paper, a learning control method based on genetic quantum contr...

In this paper, the continuity of tracking a ground moving target using a Hexarotor is considered in the presence of sudden changes in direction, deceptive movements, temporary departure from the field of view (FOV) and changes in the height of the target. In this regard, a hierarchical guidance and control system for target tracking problem in an unknown environment and disturbances is proposed...

We propose a novel method to estimate and track the 3D line of sight of a person based on 3-D computer vision techniques. Most of the existing nonintrusive gaze tracking methods share a common drawback: users have to perform certain experiments in calibrating the user-dependent parameters before using the gaze tracking systems. These parameters are functions of the radius of the cornea, the pos...

A speed performance improved vehicle tracking system on a given set of evaluation videos of a street surveillance system is presented. We implement multi-threading technique to meet the requirement of realtime performance which demanded in the practical surveillance systems. Through multi-threading technique, we can accomplish near real-time performance. An analysis of results is also presented.

We present software to detect noise in eye position signals from video-based eye-tracking systems that depend on accurate pupil and corneal reflection position estimation. When such systems transiently fail to properly detect the pupil or the corneal reflection due to occlusion from eyelids, eye lashes or various shadows, the estimated gaze position is false. This produces an artifactual signal...

A video tracking system raises a wide possibility in today’s society. This system is used in various applications such as security, monitoring, robotic, and nowadays in day-to-day applications. However the video tracking systems still have many open problems and many of research activities in a video tracking system are explored. Therefore in this article, an overview of recent research activit...

Gaze tracking is an important technology as the system can give information about a person from what and where the person is seeing. There have been many attempts to make robust and accurate gaze trackers using either monitor or wearable devices. However, those contraptions often require fine individual calibration per session and/or require a person wearing a device, which may not be suitable ...
