It is shown that the category of non-Archimedean metric spaces with l-Lipschitz maps can be embedded as a coreflectlve non-bireflective subcategory in the category of fuzzy uniform spaces. Consequential characterizations of topological and unif’orm properties are derived.

In this paper we construct a natural category ~r of locally and topologically ringed spaces which contains both the category of locally noetherian formal schemes and the category of rigid analytic varieties as full subcategories. This category has applications in algebraic geometry and rigid analytic geometry. The idea of the definition of the category ~r is the following. From a formal point o...

We check that there exists a structure of model category on the category of flows whose weak equivalences are the S-homotopy equivalences. This model structure is simplicial, but not topological.

In this paper, the category of L-FINT is topological category over Set. We investigate the functorial relations between L-FTOP and LFINT where L is a strictly two-sided, commutative quantale lattice. Mathematics Subject Classification: 03E72, 54A40, 54B10

This article gives results on fixed basis frame valued neighborhood topological groups and stratified neighborhood topological groups, includes some characterization theorems, and presents the uniformizability of stratified neighborhood topological groups within the unified approach of Gutiérrez García, DePrada Vicente, and Šostak. It is shown that for a frame L, the category L-NGrp is topologi...

The notions of L-sobriety and L-spatiality are introduced for the category L-BiTop of Lbitopological spaces. Such notions are used to extend the known adjunction between the category L-Top of L-topological spaces and the category Loc of locals to one between the category L-BiTop and BiLoc. Also, the concepts of localic regularity and localic compactness are introduced in the mentioned category.

We introduce a relativized notion of (semi)normalcy for categories that come equipped with a proper stable factorization system, and we use radicals and normal closure operators in order to study torsion theories in such categories. Our results generalize and complement recent studies in the realm of semi-abelian and, in part, homological categories. In particular, we characterize both, torsion...

Starting with the motivating example of Stone’s representation theorem that allows one to represent Boolean algebras as subalgebras of the poweralgebra of a sufficiently large set, we ask the question of whether it is possible to generalize this to a relationship between lattice theory and topology. This can be done by considering special lattices called locales, which are, in a sense, a suitab...

We develop a general framework for various lattice-valued, probabilistic and approach uniform convergence spaces. To this end, we use the concept of $s$-stratified $LM$-filter, where $L$ and $M$ are suitable frames. A stratified $LMN$-uniform convergence tower is then a family of structures indexed by a quantale $N$. For different choices of $L,M$ and $N$ we obtain the lattice-valued, probabili...

The category TOP of topological spaces is not cartesian closed, but can be embedded into the cartesian closed category ASSM of assemblies over algebraic lattices, which is a generalisation of Scott's category EQU of equilogical spaces. In this paper, we identify cartesian closed subcategories of assemblies which correspond to well-known separation properties of topology: T 0 ,
