This paper considers the Two Array Mask algorithm which enables rapid plotting of a continuous function F(x, y). After reexamining this method as a hidden-surface algorithm, its correctness and precision were analyzed for parallel and perspective projections; given that the method with perspective projections is, generally speaking, not exact, alternative solutions are proposed for this case.

The purpose of this work is to extract three-dimensional (3D) motion trajectories of internal implanted and external skin-attached markers from kV cone-beam projections and reduce image artifact from patient motion in cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) from on-board imager. Cone beam radiographic projections were acquired for a mobile phantom and liver patients with internal implanted and ext...

A novel algorithm for fast computation of tomographic image projections is presented. The method comprises a decomposition of an image into subimages followed by an aggregation of projections computed for the subimages. The multilevel domain decomposition algorithm is formulated as a recursive procedure. The computational cost of the proposed algorithm is comparable to that of FFT-based techniq...

We present a modification of Dykstra’s algorithm which allows us to avoid projections onto general convex sets. Instead, we calculate projections onto either a halfspace or onto the intersection of two halfspaces. Convergence of the algorithm is established and special choices of the halfspaces are proposed. The option to project onto halfspaces instead of general convex sets makes the algorith...

Black tea has a long history in China, but export trade, pesticide residues often exceed the standard. To obtain rapid, accurate, and non-destructive identification method of on black tea, fluorescence hyperspectral data dry sprayed with distilled water six pesticides were collected this study. The spectra preprocessed by multiplicative scatter correction (MSC) standard normal variate (SNV). Th...

Wood density is a key indicator for tree functionality and end utilization. Appropriate chemometric methods play an important role in the successful prediction of wood by visible near infrared (Vis-NIR) spectroscopy. The objective this study was to select appropriate pre-processing, variable selection multivariate calibration techniques improve accuracy Chinese white poplar (Populus tomentosa c...

Cropland soil organic carbon (SOC) is crucial for global food security and mitigating the greenhouse effect. Accurate SOC prediction using hyperspectral data essential dynamic monitoring of pools in croplands. However, effective methods to reduce dimensionality integrate it with suitable regression algorithms reliable models are poorly understood. In this study, we analyzed 108 samples from Cha...

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) tomography (TomoSAR) is an appealing tool for the extraction of height information urban infrastructures. Due to widespread applications multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm in source localization, it a suitable solution TomoSAR when snapshots (looks) are available. While classical MUSIC aims estimate whole reflectivity profile scatterers, sequential a...

This paper describes a new algorithm for learning decision lists that operates by prepending successive rules to front of the list under construction. This contrasts with the original decision list induction algorithm which operates by appending successive rules to end of the list under construction.. The new algorithm is demonstrated in the majority of cases to produce smaller classifiers that...
