In a recent issue of the Bulletin of the Korean Mathematical Society, Qi and Zhang discovered an interesting integral representation for the Bernoulli numbers of the second kind (also known as Gregory’s coefficients, Cauchy numbers of the first kind, and the reciprocal logarithmic numbers). The same representation also appears in many other sources, either with no references to its author, or w...
In this paper, by using the Euler-Maclaurin expansion for the Riemann-$zeta$ function, we establish an inequality of a weight coefficient. Using this inequality, we derive a new reverse Hilbert's type inequality. As an applications, an equivalent form is obtained.
Background and Objective: Findings represent the role of social stress in aging, disease and mortality of individuals. Since the body responses to environmental stress by anxiety behaviors, in this study we compared the effects of "food restriction", "food deprivation" and "social inequality" on anxiety-like behaviors. Methods: In response to this question, life expectancy and mortality rate as health indicators and Gini coef...
Objective: Income inequality affects consumption structure via changes in the composition of expenditure basket. Shocks, fluctuations, disparities, and dispersions of income inequality, is expected to be transmitted to consumption expenditures. These shocks might induce inequalities in consumption expenditures. This paper tries to measure the amount of such consumption expenditures inequal...
The main purpose of this article is to investigate the factors affecting Iranchr('39')s income inequality in the period 1352 to 1396. For this purpose, causal relationships were first investigated using Hsiao and Toda-Yamamato causality tests. Then the effects of effective factors were estimated using error correction patterns. The results of causal tests in general showed that there is a causal...
