Is it possible to achieve molecules with starlike structures by replacing the H atoms in (CH)(n)(q) aromatic hydrocarbons with aluminum atoms in bridging positions? Although D(4h) C(4)Al(4)(2-) and D(2) C(6)Al(6) are not good prospects for experimental realization, a very extensive computational survey of fifty C(5)Al(5)(-) isomers identified the starlike D(5h) global minimum with five planar t...
which are analytic in the open unit disc U {z ∈ C : |z| < 1} on the complex plane C. Let S, S∗ α , C α 0 ≤ α < 1 denote the subclasses of A consisting of functions that are univalent, starlike of order α, and convex of order α in U, respectively. In particular, the classes S∗ 0 S∗ and C 0 C are the familiar classes of starlike and convex functions inU, respectively. A function f ∈ C α if Re 1 z...
In 1999, Kanas and Rønning introduced the classes of starlike and convex functions, which are normalized with f (w) = f ′(w)− 1 = 0 and w a fixed point in U . In 2005, the authors introduced the classes of functions close to convex and α-convex, which are normalized in the same way. All these definitions are somewhat similar to the ones for the uniform-type functions and it is easy to see that ...

In this paper, we define a generalized class of starlike functions with negative coefficients and obtain coefficient estimates, distortion bounds, closure theorems and extreme points. Further we obtain modified Hadamard product, radii of close-to-convex, starlikeness and convexity for functions belonging to this class. Furthermore neighborhood results are discussed.
In this paper we study functions which are strongly starlike, with the method of differential inequalities. We also give a generalization of the results obtained by the authors Milutin Obradovic and Santosh B. Joshi (1998) with new class of functions defined by q order ordinary differential operator.
1 Presented by We construct a function f (z), univalent and starlike in the unit disc, with some interesting geometric and analytic properties. It turns out that its convolutions f * λn with a specific class of univalent polynomials λn(z) are not subordinate to the function itself. This provides a counterexample to a result of Greiner and Ruscheweyh.
