Geographical widespread data on human papillomavirus (HPV) type-distribution are essential for estimating the impact of HPV-16/18 vaccines on cervical cancer and cervical screening programmes. Epidemiological studies employing a variety of HPV typing protocols have been collated in meta-analyses. HPV-16/18 is estimated to account for 70% of all cervical cancers worldwide, although the estimated...

This research examines the impact of asking intention questions about "vice behaviors," or behaviors about which respondents simultaneously hold both negative explicit and positive implicit attitudes. Asking questions about the likelihood of engaging in behaviors for which respondents maintain conflicting attitude structures appears to give respondents a "license to sin," resulting in increased...

Authors' conclusions 1. Estimates of test sensitivity and test specificity for the new devices could not be reliably determined. The research reviewed here provides no evidence for improved detection of high-grade abnormalities by new devices for cervical screening. New devices should demonstrate clinical effectiveness gains in detecting higher grade abnormalities. Highgrade squamous intraepith...

Lymphangioma circumscriptum of the vulva occurs in patients who have undergone radical hysterectomy, lymph node dissection, or radiation therapy for management of advanced uterine cancer. Since vulvar lymphangioma circumscriptum typically presents as multiple, grossly verrucous vesicles of various sizes, it may be impossible to clinically distinguish vulvar lymphangioma circumscriptum from othe...

OBJECTIVE To review the results of patients who were referred for posthysterectomy of abnormal cytology based on screening indications. MATERIALS AND METHODS We performed a retrospective review of 64 patients who have been referred for posthysterectomy vaginal colposcopy to the gynecologic oncology service. Patients' demographics, clinical features, reason for screening, and final diagnosis w...

1. Read Matthew 4:1-11 and discuss the following questions 2. Why do you think Satan was tempting Jesus, what was his purpose 3. Why did The Spirit of God lead Jesus into the desert to be tempted, why did God allow it? 4. How did Jesus resist the devils temptations — what did he do? 5. What did the devil do when he realized he would not be successful? 6. Based on the versus below what is the so...

The stability of the predictions of two of the standard model parameters, α3(MZ) and sin 2 θ(MZ), in a MU ∼ 4 TeV unification model is examined. It is concluded that varying the unification scale between MU ≃ 2.5 TeV and MU ≃ 5 TeV leaves robust all predictions within reasonable bounds. Choosing MU = 3.8± 0.4 TeV gives, at lowest order, accurate predictions at MZ . The impact of threshold effec...

A novel dynamical effect is presented: systematic drift of a topological soliton in ac-driven weakly damped systems with periodic boundary conditions. The effect is demonstrated in detail for a long annular Josephson junction. Unlike earlier considered cases of the ac-driven motion of fluxons (kinks), in the present case the long junction is spatially uniform. Numerical simulations reveal that ...

We present a supersymmetric grand unification scheme based on the gauge group SU(3)c×SU(3)L×SU(3)R in which the proton and the lightest supersymmetric particle are stable, neutrinos are necessarily massive, and the observed baryon asymmetry originates in the lepton sector. Such models are also consistent with the measured value of sin θW as well as unification of the gauge couplings. ∗Supported...
