The paper presents issues regarding the flux estimation of induction machines. The electrical machines variable’s estimation represents a major problem in the actual context of modern control approaches, especially of sensorless control strategies. There are considered several implementations of induction machine’s flux estimators by using the Matlab-Simulink environment and there are drawn the...
This paper proposes an extended-flux model with core-loss resistance of SynRMs (synchronous reluctance motors) and precise torque estimation without core-loss measurement and position encoder. The proposed torque estimation is useful for precise MTPA (maximum torque per ampere) control of position sensorless controlled SynRMs, which is achieved with the assistance of active and reactive powers.
In this paper we demonstrate that a passive vibration strategy can bring a 1 degree of freedom ball to a known trajectory from all possible initial configurations. We draw motivation from the problem of parts feeding in sensorless assembly. We provide simulation results suggesting the relevance of our analytical results to the parts feeding problem.

In the paper by Vaclavek et al. (IEEE Trans. Ind. Electron., vol. 60, no. 8, pp. 3047-3059, Aug. 2013), the local observability of both induction machine and permanent magnet synchronous machine under motion sensorless operation is studied. In this letter, the “slowly varying” speed assumption is discussed, and the permanent magnet synchronous machine observability condition at standstill is re...
In this paper some sensorless strategies for induction motor drives are reviewed and analyzed. A method for accurately obtaining the PWM stator voltage is used to minimize the problem of estimating stator flux from the stator voltage equation in low speeds. A Gopinath style stator flux observer is presented and its capability to compensate for stator voltage errors is discussed.
Adaptive observers used in sensorless control of induction motors suffer from instability especally in regenerating mode. In this paper, an optimal feed back gain design is proposed, it can reduce the instability region in the torque speed plane . Keywords—Induction motor drive, adaptive observer, regenerating mode, stabilizing design.
Induction motor is a cast of alternating current motor where charge endures allotted to the rotor close-at-hand deputation of conductive charge. These motors are broadly applied in industrial claim due to they are arduous along with adhere no contacts. The speed controller of deltoid phase induction motor is applied to alleviate the aberration of speed. The central constructivist of this paper ...
Utilization of multi-phase machines in variable speed drives is nowadays extensively considered for electric ship propulsion, ‘more-electric aircraft’ and traction applications, including EVs and HEVs. In addition to wellknown advantages, use of multi-phase machines enables independent control of a certain number of machines that are connected in series in an appropriate manner, with the supply...
Within the appliance motor control industry there is an increasing trend to move towards using brushless dc motors. This trend is in response to recent legislation mandating improved efficiency standards in appliance applications. Brushless dc motors do however require rotor position information in order to select the appropriate commutation angle. In cost sensitive applications such as applian...
