Objective: Keeping one's balance is a basic part of daily activities and it is an important factor in the performance of the athletic. The goal of this study was to study the effect of resistive exercises on young soccer players dynamic balance. Methods: Forty young soccer players voluntarily participated in this study and were randomly divided randomly into two groups of experimental and co...

In the first week of the internship, I was tasked with creating a VerilogA model of memristors I could use for further simulations. As there is no single predominant model, I explored the range of models used in published works and implemented several in VerilogA. All these models are in the RRAM library, and they all have a name with the prefix memr_model. Below is an explanation of each model...

Memristive device based passive crossbar arrays hold a great promise for high-density and non-volatile memories. A significant challenge of ultra-high density integration of these crossbars is unwanted sneakpath currents. The most common way of addressing this issue today is an integrated or external selecting device to block unwanted current paths. In this paper, we use a memristive device wit...

We demonstrate current self-complianced and self-rectifying bipolar resistive switching in an Ag-electroded Na-doped ZnO nanowire device. The resistive switching is controlled by the formation and rupture of an Ag nanoisland chain on the surface along the Na-doped ZnO nanowire. Na-doping plays important roles in both the self-compliance and self-rectifying properties.

This paper presents a novel resistive-only Binary and Ternary Content Addressable Memory (B/TCAM) cell that consists of two Complementary Resistive Switches (CRSs). The operation of such a cell relies on a logic→ON state transition that enables this novel CRS application.

Hollerbach and Rüdiger have reported a new type of magnetorotational instability (MRI) in magnetized Taylor-Couette flow in the presence of combined axial and azimuthal magnetic fields. The salient advantage of this "helical" MRI (HMRI) is that marginal instability occurs at arbitrarily low magnetic Reynolds and Lundquist numbers, suggesting that HMRI might be easier to realize than standard MR...

Whether platelet volume increases during the morphological changes preceding aggregation has been investigated. Previous research is controversial; resistive-counting techniques reveal an increase, centrifugal methods do not. Platelets were sized with a computerized, resistive-particle counter before and after incubation with adenosine diphosphate (ADP). Resistive volume increased by 14% (p les...
