The idea of probabilistic metric space was introduced by Menger and he showed that probabilistic metric spaces are generalizations of metric spaces. Thus, in this paper, we prove some of the important features and theorems and conclusions that are found in metric spaces. At the beginning of this paper, the distance distribution functions are proposed. These functions are essential in defining p...

This study aims to find out how forecast and predict the number of sales freight forwarding services at PT Samudera Naga Global. research was conducted using autoregression exponential smoothing methods. The author conducts on companies engaged in transportation goods that manage all or part activities related delivery receipt through routes. results were carried two methods, namely by comparin...

BACKGROUND Influenza is a well known and common human respiratory infection, causing significant morbidity and mortality every year. Despite Influenza variability, fast and reliable outbreak detection is required for health resource planning. Clinical health records, as published by the Diagnosticat database in Catalonia, host useful data for probabilistic detection of influenza outbreaks. ME...

the notion of a probabilistic metric  space  corresponds to thesituations when we do not know exactly the  distance.  probabilistic metric space was  introduced by karl menger. alsina, schweizer and sklar gave a general definition of  probabilistic normed space based on the definition of menger [1]. in this note we study the pn spaces which are  topological vector spaces and the open mapping an...

Ad-Hoc networks are collections of mobile nodes communicating using wireless media without any fixed infrastructure. Minimal configuration and quick deployment make Ad-Hoc networks suitable for emergency situations like natural disasters or military conflicts. The current Ad-Hoc networks can only support either high mobility or high transmission rate at a time because they employ static approac...

In this paper, the connection between Menger probabilistic norms and H"{o}hle probabilistic norms is discussed. In addition, the correspondence between probabilistic norms and Wu-Fang fuzzy (semi-) norms is established. It is shown that a probabilistic norm (with triangular norm $min$) can generate a Wu-Fang fuzzy semi-norm and conversely, a Wu-Fang fuzzy norm can generate a probabilistic norm.

Existing forwarding strategies for delay tolerant networks aim at network throughput maximization. They provide forwarding opportunities to more reachable destinations. This results in the long endto-end delay and low throughput of less reachable destinations. In this paper, we propose two forwarding strategies to improve the throughput of less reachable nodes with little throughput degradation...

Delay Tolerant Network (DTN) is a promising technology which aims to provide efficient communication between devices in a network with no guaranteed continuous connectivity. Most of the existing routing schemes for DTNs achieve message delivery through message replication and forwarding. However, due to the lack of contemporaneous end-to-end communication path, designing routing protocols that ...

We propose a probabilistic approach to modelling the propagation of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Madagascar, with all its specificities. With strategy Malagasy state, which consists isolating suspected cases and hospitalized confirmed case, we get an epidemic model seven compartments: susceptible (S), Exposed (E), Infected (I), Asymptomatic (A), Hospitalized (H), Cured (C) Death (D). ...

DTN probabilistic routing protocols forwards message to a node that holds high predictability value to meet its destination. However, the message replication continues on the high probable peers while high probable peers continue to receive the transmissions from multiple sources. Such rampant transmissions drain out the battery and node can go to the dead state thus will not be able receive it...
