The authors empirically explore the revenue impact of marketing mix variables and their interactions. The findings include: pharmaceutical direct to consumer advertising (DTC) and detailing (sales force) affect demand synergistically; detailing raises price elasticity; and, detailing has a higher ROI than DTC.
