We present preliminary results from Fermilab E791 on D 0 ? D 0 mixing and doubly Cabibbo-suppressed decays (DCSD) of the D 0 and D + mesons. The time dependence of the wrong-sign signal (D 0 ! K + ?) is used to establish separate limits on DCSD and mixing. From one third of our data we obtained r mix < 0:47%, r DCSD < 2:7% at the 90% conndence level.

Linked data has emerged as an interesting technology for publishing structured data on the Web but also as a powerful mechanism for integrating disparate data sources. Various tools and approaches have been developed in the semantic Web community to produce and consume linked data, however little attention has been paid to monetization of linked data. In this paper we introduce a data marketpla...

The growing amount of data available in the Document Web as well as in the Linked Data Web has lead to an information gap. Information needed to answer complex questions might often require full-text data as well as Linked Data. Thus, HAWK combines unstructured and structured data sources. In this article, we introduce HAWK, a novel entity search approach for hybrid question answering based on ...

Provenance tracking for Linked Data requires the identification of Linked Data resources. Annotating Linked Data on the level of single statements requires the identification of these statements. The concept of a Provenance Context is introduced as the basis for a consistent data model for Linked Data that incorporates current best-practices and creates identity for every published Linked Datas...

The successful operation of the WorldView-1 satellite has enabled advanced high-accuracy mapping using high-resolution satellite images, with or without the use of ground control points (GCPs). The stereo capability of the WorldView-1 sensor also provides the opportunity to extract high-resolution digital elevation models (DEMs). This article will examine the effectiveness of automatic DEM extr...

More and more data are being published in the form of machine readable RDF graphs over Linked Open Data (LOD) Cloud accessible through SPARQL queries. This study provides interactive navigation of RDF graphs obtained by SPARQL queries using Formal Concept Analysis. With the help of this View By clause a concept lattice is created as an answer to the SPARQL query which can then be visualized and...

The term Linked Data refers to a set of best practices for publishing and connecting structured data on the Web. These best practices have been adopted by an increasing number of data providers over the last three years, leading to the creation of a global data space containing billions of assertions the Web of Data. In this article we present the concept and technical principles of Linked Data...

Record linkage, or exact matching, can be used to join together two files that contain information on the same individuals, but lack unique personal identification codes. The possibility of errors in linkage causes problems for estimating the relationships between variables on the two files. The effect is analogous to the impact of measurement error. A model of a linear regression relationship ...
