In this paper we investigate the global property of the states constructed through superposition of many states by using the concept of incomparability under LOCC as the inherent property of the states. In our work we are able to form a bridge between comparable and incomparable classes of states through linear superposition of a states and the concept of strong incomparability criterian under ...

Abstract In this letter, an analytical method for the beampattern synthesis of symmetric nonuniform array is proposed. This consists two steps. first step, it acquires a real excitation by convex optimization to attain pencil beam. second superposes beams pointing in different directions synthesize prescribed beampattern. Numerical results are provided verify effectiveness proposed method.

Modern non-invasive brain imaging techniques utilize changes in cerebral blood flow, volume and oxygenation that accompany brain activation. However, stimulus-evoked hemodynamic responses display considerable inter-trial variability even when identical stimuli are presented and the sources of this variability are poorly understood. One of the sources of this response variation could be ongoing ...

A linear superposition principle of exponential traveling waves is analyzed for Hirota bilinear equations, with an aim to construct a specific sub-class of N-soliton solutions formed by linear combinations of exponential traveling waves. Applications are made for the 3 + 1 dimensional KP, Jimbo–Miwa and BKP equations, thereby presenting their particular N-wave solutions. An opposite question is...

A class of bilinear differential operators is introduced through assigning appropriate signs and used to create bilinear differential equations which generalize Hirota bilinear equations. The resulting bilinear differential equations are characterized by a special kind of Bell polynomials and the linear superposition principle is applied to the construction of their linear subspaces of solution...

Given a perfect superposition of [Formula: see text] states on a quantum system of [Formula: see text] qubits. We propose a fast quantum algorithm for collapsing the perfect superposition to a chosen quantum state [Formula: see text] without applying any measurements. The basic idea is to use a phase destruction mechanism. Two operators are used, the first operator applies a phase shift and a t...

We propose a new spectral prediction model as well as new approaches for modeling ink spreading which occurs when printing ink layer superpositions. The spectral prediction model enhances the classical ClapperYule model by taking into account the fact that proportionally more incident light through a given colorant surface is reflected back onto the same colorant surface than onto other coloran...

This paper provides a physically based model to animate water. A disturbance model is proposed to simulate various kinds of waves. We use a powerful solver called Finite Volume Method to solve the water uid equation and give various kinds of disturbance to the solutions according to di erent disturbance sources such as wind and rain droplets. In this way, we can nicely simulate the movement of ...

The superposition principle forms the most fundamental kinematical element of quantum theory. Its universality seems to have first been postulated by Dirac as part of the definition of his “ket-vectors”, which he proposed as a complete and general concept to characterize quantum states regardless of any “basis of representation”. They were later recognized by von Neumann as forming an abstract ...
