OUT Tesults show that the yield of VLSI adders can be improved by modifying the layout of the ol.iginal design and/or by choosing a dzfferent layout and circuit structure. Spike-timing dependent synaptic plasticity (STDP) circuitry is designed in 0.35μm CMOS VLSI. By setting different circuit parameters and generating diverse spike inputs, we got different steady weight distributions. Through analysing these simulation results, we show the effect of membrane threshold and input rate in STDP adaptation.

The embedding problem for a class of graphs called rectilinear graphs is discussed. These graphs have applications in many VLSI Layout Problems. An interesting topological characterization of these graphs lead to efficient algorithms for recognizing and embedding rectilinear graphs which are embeddable on the plane.
