In this paper the intersection problem for a pair of kite-GDDs type 4u is investigated. The determination all pairs (T, s) such that there exists (X,H,B1) and (X,H,B2) same T |B1?B2| = s. Let J(u) {s : ? intersecting in s blocks}; I(u) {0, 1,..., bu 2, bu}, where 2u(u 1) number blocks kite-GDD 4u. We show any positive integer u 3, I(u).
Introduction: CD19 CAR T-cells can induce prolonged remission in a significant number of patients with relapse/refractory (R/R) lymphoma. However, little is known about patients’ life after T-cell therapy. Here, we conducted prospective study to evaluate health-related quality (HRQol), as well physical, social and professional outcomes Methods: This was at the University Hospitals Rennes Toulou...
INTRODUCTION Today, more than ever, there is an increasing need for non-lethal methods to effectively control crop depredation by birds. One such method, involving the use of fear-provoking stimuli, has been used since ancient times but often with little success. If fear-provoking stimuli are to be improved, we must identify those features that are most effective and incorporate these into scar...
HERE is no question in the development of aviation more interesting to the average observer than the relative value of the biplane and the monoplane. Types of both have so multiplied and differentiated that the man on the street can no longer distinguish at sight, say, a Nieuport from any other of the monoplanes to which Bleriot accustomed him, or pick out a Farman, a Sommer, a Voisin, from oth...
in this paper, the dynamical behavior of an axially moving string modeled by fractional derivative is investigated. the governing equation represented motion is solved by the method of multiple scales. considering principal parametric resonance, the stability boundaries for string with simple supports are obtained. numerical results indicate the effects of fractional damping on stability.
A bacteriophage with a B-3 morphology was detected by electron microscopy in a spirochete isolated from the tick Ixodes dammini. It has a 40- to 50-nm elongated head and a tail 50 to 70 nm in length. It appears devoid of collars or kite-tail structure. The spirochete has been identified as the causative agent of Lyme disease.
We prove that there is a unique folding tessellation of the sphere and an infinite family of folding tessellations of the plane with prototiles a kite and an equilateral triangle. Each tiling of this family is obtained by successive gluing of two patterns composed of triangles and kites, respectively. The combinatorial structure and the symmetry group is achieved.
In this paper we investigate certain properties of semi-totalistic cellular automata (CA) on the well known quasi-periodic kite and dart two dimensional tiling of the plane presented by Roger Penrose. We show that, despite the irregularity of the underlying grid, it is possible to devise a semitotalistic CA capable of simulating any boolean circuit and any Turing machine on this aperiodic tiling.
Abstract. Conway’s Game of Life (GoL) rules can be applied to Cellular Automata (CAs) running on aperiodic grids, namely Penrose tilings. Here we investigate the result of running such CAs from random initial conditions. We describe our experimental setup, and demonstrate that the GoL on the Penrose kite and dart tiling has significantly different statistical behaviour from that on the Penrose ...
