A recombinant norovirus, GII.P16-GII.4_Sydney2012, was first detected from nine patients with gastroenteritis in Kawasaki City, Japan, in 2016. The viral genome showed nucleotide sequence identities of 95.1% and 97.2% to the closest strains in the regions of 5' terminus to ORF1 and ORF2 to 3' terminus, respectively.

Inhomogeneous lattice paths are introduced as ordered sequences of rectangular Young tableaux thereby generalizing recent work on the Kostka polynomials by Nakayashiki and Yamada and by Lascoux, Leclerc and Thibon. Motivated by these works and by Kashiwara’s theory of crystal bases we define a statistic on paths yielding two novel classes of polynomials. One of these provides a generalization o...

Abstract. Some integrals involving three bases are evaluated as infinite products using complex analysis. Many special cases of these integrals may be evaluated in another way to find infinite sum representations for these infinite products. The resulting identities are identities of Rogers-Ramanujan type. Some integer partition interpretations of these identities are given. Generalizations of ...

This article responds to Staricco’s critique of cultural political economy (CPE) for being inherently constructivist because of its emphasis on the ontologically foundational role of semiosis (senseand meaning-making) in social life. Staricco recommends the Amsterdam School of transnational historical materialism as a more immediately productive and insightful approach to developing a regulatio...

Profiling the transcriptome that underlies biomass degradation by the fungus Trichoderma harzianum allows the identification of gene sequences with potential application in enzymatic hydrolysis processing. In the present study, the transcriptome of T. harzianum IOC-3844 was analyzed using RNA-seq technology. The sequencing generated 14.7 Gbp for downstream analyses. De novo assembly resulted in...

PIOTR´SNIADY ABSTRACT. We prove a family of new identities fulfilled by multino-mial coefficients, which were conjectured by Dykema and Haagerup. Our method bases on a study of the, so–called, triangular operator T by the means of the free probability theory.

The AGM model for the revision and contraction of beliefs sets provides sets of postulates for each of the two cases. In the context of finite propositional logic, Katsuno and Mendelzon printed out some sets of postulates for the revision of belief bases which correspond to the postulates AGM revision of beliefs sets. In this paper, we present postulates for the contraction of propositional bel...

We use Cvitanović’s diagrammatic techniques to construct the rational solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation associated with the e6 and e7 families of Lie algebras, and thus explain Westbury’s observations about their uniform spectral decompositions. In doing so we explore the extensions of the Brauer and symmetric group algebras to the centralizer algebras of e7 and e6 on their lowest-dimension...

We present a number of results relating partial Cauchy-Littlewood sums, integrals over the compact classical groups, and increasing subsequences of permutations. These include: integral formulae for the distribution of the longest increasing subsequence of a random involution with constrained number of fixed points; new formulae for partial Cauchy-Littlewood sums, as well as new proofs of old f...

The paper deals with the personality traits of Gallo-Roman author Sidonius Apollinaris (~430–489) who was a representative of Late Roman nobility and clergyman as well. It wasn’t unusual situation for 4th-6th century’s Mediterranean world, when intellectual elite was a fueler for religious leaders. Nonetheless some of them underwent the crisis of identity, others continued to hold old values an...
