Vesico-bullous subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus is an uncommon and severe presentation. The authors report an exuberant case of vesico-bullous subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus successfully treated with dapsone and hydroxychloroquine.

A 65-year-old male resident of Guatemala presented with a 5-month history of distal symmetric arthritis and generalized fatigue. This was associated with night sweats, chills, and weight loss. Symptoms were refractory to oral prednisone and hydroxychloroquine.

A rare case of childhood pulmonary haemosiderosis with juvenile idiopathic arthritis is discussed, with particular reference to treatment with hydroxychloroquine and sildenafil for pulmonary hypertension which occurs secondary to this disease.
