In this work we are concerned with maximality of monotone operators representable by certain convex functions in non-reflexive Banach spaces. We also prove that these maximal monotone operators satisfy a Brønsted-Rockafellar type property. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 47H05, 49J52, 47N10.

We study the convergence of maximal monotone operators with the help of representations by convex functions. In particular, we prove the convergence of a sequence of sums of maximal monotone operators under a general qualification condition of the Attouch–Brezis type.

Interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IVIFSs), a generalization of fuzzy sets, is characterized by an interval-valued membership function, an interval-valued non-membership function. The objective of this paper is to deal with criteria aggregation problems using IVIFSs where there exists a prioritization relationship over the criteria.Based on the ${L}$ukasiewicz triangular norm, we first p...

In this note, the notion of generalized continuous K- frame in a Hilbert space is defined. Examples have been given to exhibit the existence of generalized continuous $K$-frames. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a generalized continuous $K$-frame in terms of its frame operator is obtained and a characterization of a generalized continuous $K$-frame for $ mathcal{H} $ wi...

In this paper, by using a resolvent operator technique of (H,η)monotone mappings, we study the behavior and sensitivity of the solutions of the system of parametric variational inclusions with (H,η)monotone operators in Hilbert spaces. Our results extend and improve the main results obtained by Agarwal, Huang and Tan [R. P. Agarwal, N. J. Huang and M. Y. Tan, Sensitivity analysis for a new syst...

A classical method for solving the variational inequality problem is the projection algorithm. We show that existing convergence results for this algorithm follow from one given by Gabay for a splitting algorithm for finding a zero of the sum of two maximal monotone operators. Moreover, we extend the projection algorithm to solve any monotone affine variational inequality problem. When applied ...

A unified fixed point theoretic framework is proposed to investigate the asymptotic behavior of algorithms for finding solutions to monotone inclusion problems. The basic iterative scheme under consideration involves nonstationary compositions of perturbed averaged nonexpansive operators. The analysis covers proximal methods for common zero problems as well as various splitting methods for find...

In the recent literature, the connection between maximal monotone operators and the Fitzpatrick function is investigated. Subsequently, this relation has been extended to maximal monotone bifunctions and their Fitzpatrick transform. In this paper we generalize some of these results to maximal n-cyclically monotone and maximal cyclically monotone bifunctions, by introducing and studying the Fitz...

The notions of a quasi-monotone operator and of a cyclically quasi-monotone operator are introduced, and relations between such operators and quasi-convex functions are established.
