Our results ...
The aim of this paper is to prove coupled coincidence and coupled common fixed point theorems for a mixed g-monotone mapping satisfying nonlinear contractive conditions in the setting of partially ordered G-metric spaces. Present theorems are true generalizations of the recent results of Choudhury and Maity [Math Comput. Modelling 54 (2011), 73–79], and Luong and Thuan [Math. Comput. Modelling ...
A concept related to the spectrum of a graph is that of energy. The energy E(G) of a graph G is equal to the sum of the absolute values of the eigenvalues of the adjacency matrix of G . The Laplacian energy of a graph G is equal to the sum of distances of the Laplacian eigenvalues of G and the average degree d(G) of G. In this paper we introduce the concept of Laplacian energy of fuzzy graphs. ...
Berinde and Borcut [1] introduced the concept of triple fixed point and proof some related fixed point theorem with some applications. The aim of this paper is to extend the result of Berinde and Borcut [1]. Indeed, we introduced the definition of generalized g−Meir-Keeler type contractions and prove some tripled fixed point theorems under a generalized g−Meir-Keeler type contractive condition....
where the limit is taken in the strong operator topology (see e.g. Goldstein [G, Theorem 8.12.] or ChernofF [C] for a comprehensive treatment of product formulas). Now let P G £ (E) be a contractive projection. Then we may consider P as a constant degenerate semigroup on E. It is interesting to know under which circumstances the limit in (1) exists if we replace e by P. More precisely, we ask f...
We construct a counterexample to Solel’s[25] conjecture that the range of any contractive, idempotent, MASA bimodule map on B(H) is necessarily a ternary subalgebra. Our construction reduces this problem to an analogous problem about the ranges of idempotent maps that are equivariant with respect to a group action. Such maps are important to understand Hamana’s theory of G-injective operator sp...
