in this paper we introduce a generalization of m-small modules and discuss about the torsion theory cogenerated by this kind of modules in category . we will use the structure of the radical of a module in and get some suitable results about this class of modules. also the relation between injective hull in and this kind of modules will be investigated in this article. for a module we show...
Results on the niteness of induced crossed modules are proved both algebraically and topologically. Using the Van Kampen type theorem for the fundamental crossed module, applications are given to the 2-types of mapping cones of classifying spaces of groups. Calculations of the cohomology classes of some nite crossed modules are given, using crossed complex methods.
This report first surveys the architectures developed in the consortium and then points out fundamental questions in architecture design. Based on this discussion, a first sketch of a domain-specific language for rich motor skill architectures is introduced. Exemplary AMARSi architectures are rephrased in terms of the proposed language. Finally, a novel type of module is outlined which implemen...
We describe combinatorially the coefficients occurring in the irreducible decomposition of the Weyl module associated with an almost skewshape belonging to the family J . The proof uses the fundamental exact sequence for almost skew-shapes to initiate an inductive procedure which ultimately reduces to the classical Littlewood-Richardson rule for skew partitions.
Being at the right place and time is as fundamental to biology as it is to academic careers. In this issue, Moravcevic and colleagues (2010) survey membrane-interacting proteins in yeast and discover a new membrane-targeting module, the kinase associated-1 domain KA1, which ensures that proteins are active at the correct place and time.
This paper describes the system SYNHESYS, which is a shell for developing expert systems composed of both a connectionist module and a symbolic module. The shell allows for several types of interactions between the two modules, and for several degrees of coupling. SYNHESYS aims at facilitating the process of knowledge acquisition and at improving the performance of the symbolic module. We prese...
Let $A$ be a Banach algebra and $X$ be a Banach $A$-bimodule with the left and right module actions $pi_ell: Atimes Xrightarrow X$ and $pi_r: Xtimes Arightarrow X$, respectively. In this paper, we study the topological centers of the left module action $pi_{ell_n}: Atimes X^{(n)}rightarrow X^{(n)}$ and the right module action $pi_{r_n}:X^{(n)}times Arightarrow X^{(n)}$, which inherit from th...
let $s$ be an inverse semigroup and let $e$ be its subsemigroup of idempotents. in this paper we define the $n$-th module cohomology group of banach algebras and show that the first module cohomology group $hh^1_{ell^1(e)}(ell^1(s),ell^1(s)^{(n)})$ is zero, for every odd $ninmathbb{n}$. next, for a clifford semigroup $s$ we show that $hh^2_{ell^1(e)}(ell^1(s),ell^1(s)^{(n)})$ is a banach space,...
in the present paper, the concepts of module (uniform) approximate amenability and contractibility of banach algebras that are modules over another banach algebra, are introduced. the general theory is developed and some hereditary properties are given. in analogy with the banach algebraic approximate amenability, it is shown that module approximate amenability and contractibility are the same ...
