This brief article traces the intersecting lines and stories of this special issue on Deleuze intimacy. It offers a take how it found its way onto these pages after nearly 2 years through two conference symposia, outlines contributions—variously differently—make case for intimacy, Deleuze, as an approach to, subject of, and/or necessary vital affective force in, research—and beyond.
