Monastic commands of St. Benedict (480- 547 BC.) to his monk disciples and mystic commands of Khājeh ‘Abd Allah Ansāri (481-396 A.H.) with an emphasis on “The Rule of St. Benedict” and “Manāzil al-Sāyerin” is compared in this article. This comparison has done in a descriptive –analytic way, in order to reveal convergence between these two figures. Considering that impressive place of these two...

Divine view is to production and industrialization a part of the process of economic development. The divine rules of governance become Ibadah (form of worship), hence industrialization within the divine ambit is also an Ibadah. Divine messages, therefore, stresses both the moral quality and skills in the production of goods. People are getting benefits from industry from different ways, someti...

Two recent atheistic arguments from evil have made much of natural and the suffering animals in their case contra theism. The first argument is that James Sterba. Introduction: Nursing and caring of a person requires that patients' physical and mental aspects be considered at the same time in order to obtain the ultimate health for the patients, which is the Qalbe Salim. Although we as human can identify non-physical aspects of human with our physical knowledge, we cannot master all of it due to the limitations of knowledge. Thus, we need a superior kno...

We have expressed recombinant RNase P protein from Escherichia coli in high yield. A hexahistidine sequence at the amino terminus allowed protein purification in a single step. Mass spectrometry confirmed the molecular weight of the purified protein and indicated a purity of > 95%. Protein functionality was demonstrated by reconstitution of active holoenzyme.

Site-specific fluorescent labeling of proteins in vivo remains one of the most powerful techniques for imaging complex processes in live cells. Although fluorescent proteins in many colors are useful tools for tracking expression and localization of fusion proteins in cells, these relatively large tags (>220 aa) can perturb protein folding, trafficking and function. Much smaller genetically enc...

BACKGROUND Making peptide pharmaceuticals involves challenging processes where many barriers, which include production and manufacture, need to be overcome. A non common but interesting research area is related to peptides with intracellular targets, which opens up new possibilities, allowing the modulation of processes occurring within the cell or interference with signaling pathways. However,...

Recombinant clathrin protein fragments form assemblies that template gold nanocrystals in an array across the latticed surface. The nanocrystals exhibit unusual anisotropic morphologies with long range ordering, both of which are dependent upon the presence of a hexahistidine tag on the clathrin heavy chain fragments.

Sterba’s Is a Good God Logically Possible? (2019) draws attention to the importance of ethical assumptions in ‘logical’ arguments from evil (LAfEs) effect that existence (certain types) is incompatible with who all-powerful and morally perfect. I argue, first, such are likely succeed only when ‘normatively relativized’—that is, based on about divine goodness may be subject deep disagreement. th...
