The angle-integrating Cerenkov technique provides a promising new approach to ground-based-ray astronomy in an energy range just above that accessible by air-Cerenkov telescopes. A method for /hadron separation usable in angle-integrating Cerenkov arrays is presented. As an example we apply this method in a full quantitative detail to the existing AIROBICC detector.

Both forward angle and 90 degrees light-scattering measurements have been used for cell sizing with stream-in-air flow systems with very little theoretical base for the measurements. Mie theory calculations are compared with measurements on plastic microspheres. Detector response for homogeneous spheres is shown to be sensitive to refractive index.
We fabricated a graphene/few-layer InSe heterostructure photo-detector and solved a recurrent materials problem concerning degradation of ultra-thin atomic layers in air.
