The spinel ZnFe2O4 specimens were obtained via a hydrothermal and ceramic method, respectively, their structural magnetic properties comparatively studied. It was found that all the exhibited single-phase mixed structure. magnetism of synthesized method is obviously better than specimen prepared method. This can be ascribed to different occupancy Fe ions resulted from loss Zn during process.
