We study the quark number susceptibility, an indicator of QCD phase transition, in the hard wall and soft wall models of hQCD. We find that the susceptibilities in both models are the same, jumping up at the deconfinement phase transition temperature. We also find that the diffusion constant in the soft wall model is enhanced compared to the one in the hard wall model.
Posterior shoulder instability is a rare clinical condition that encompasses different degrees of severity including various possible pathologies involving the labrum, capsule, bony lesions, and even locked posterior dislocation. When focusing on soft tissue involvement, the diagnosis of posterior instability may be difficult to make because frequently patients report vague symptoms not associa...
OBJECTIVE Elastofibroma dorsi (ED) is a rare, benign, soft tissue tumor typically located between inferior corner of scapula and posterior chest wall causing mass, scapular snapping, and pain. When classic symptoms and localization are present, it is diagnosed without biopsy and treated with marginal resection. This study retrospectively analyzed patients operated on for ED to evaluate presenti...
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Middle ear surgery is often performed through the external auditory canal, and the CT appearance of the external auditory canal after transcanal middle ear surgery can mimic erosive pathology such as carcinoma, external auditory canal cholesteatoma, or necrotizing external otitis. We reviewed the CT findings in a group of patients following transcanal surgery to highlight...

vaginal leiomyomas are uncommon benign tumour with variable clinical presentation. these tumours arise most commonly from anterior vaginal wall. we report a case of 50-year old postmenopausal woman who presented with urinary retention, profuse vaginal bleeding and mass protruding into vagina. local examination revealed a pedunculated mass attached to the posterior vaginal wall with vascular sta...
