Photoelectro-Fenton (PEF) process can continuously promote the occurrence of Fenton reaction and generation active species, which is an advanced oxidation technology for pollutant degradation. However, lack bifunctional catalysts restricts development PEF technology. In this study, electronic rearrangement MOF-525 modified by metalloporphyrin (named MOF-525-Fe/Zr) was prepared, to load on carbo...

Chemical synthetic pharmaceutical wastewater has characteristics of high concentration, toxicity and poor biodegradability, so it is difficult to directly biodegrade. We used acid modified attapulgite (ATP) supported Fe-Mn-Cu polymetallic oxide as catalyst for multi-phase Fenton-like ultraviolet photocatalytic oxidation (photo-Fenton) treatment with actual chemical the object. The results showe...

—A view of software measurement that disagrees with the model presented in a recent paper by Kitchenham, Pfleeger, and Fenton, is given. Whereas Kitchenham, Pfleeger, and Fenton argue that properties used to define measures should not constrain the scale type of measures, we contend that that is an inappropriate restriction. In addition, a misinterpretation of Weyuker's properties is noted.

Advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) based on oxidants have attracted attention for the degradation of organic pollutants. The combination chalcopyrite with such as persulfate, peroxide, percarbonate, and others shows promise a system due to its ability activate through various pathways, leading formation numerous radical non-radical species. In this review, generation sulfate (SR) hydroxyl (HR)...

Iron can be a detrimental catalyst in biological free radical oxidations. Because of the high physiological ratio of [O2]/[H2O2] (> or = 10(3)), we hypothesize that the Fenton reaction with pre-existing H2O2 is only a minor initiator of free radical oxidations and that the major initiators of biological free radical oxidations are the oxidizing species formed by the reaction of Fe2+ with dioxyg...

A highly selective, ultrasensitive (visual and instrumental detection limits of 40 nM and 0.1 nM, respectively), environmentally-friendly, simple and rapid colorimetric sensor was developed for the detection of copper(II) in water. This sensor is based on a novel signal-amplification mechanism involving reactive halide species (RHSs) including chlorides or bromides, which accelerate copper Fent...
